António Dulcídio was born
in Portugal in 1959. He begins painting with 12 year old.
With an academic background in Marketing and Advertising,
studied art at the National Society of Fine Arts in
Lisbon. He is the founder and President of the Galeria
Aberta - Artists Association. He defines Art as
communication, dream, emotions, protest, aesthetic, and
the ultimate human realization. "The good things in life,
are made with art". The need to communicate and personal
fulfillment is what he needs to create. Inspired by the
emotions, but more importantly, Dulcídio find his
personal balance when creating a painting. From the
public expects to understand the message of this work
and receive criticism. The indifference of public
bothers him most. He is the manager of galeriaaberta.org,
galeriaaberta.com, and galeriaaberta.ning.com.
Represented in several collections: Portugal, Spain and
Denmark.
